Well i figured id give in and give some people the ins and outs of my life (mostly the art side, i like to keep the personal life personal).

Since my last post, i have rewritten “Fate”, the second installment in the “Geeks” series, and am working on my senior studio project for the semester.

1. yes ive rewritten “Fate”. this does not mean that we are unhappy with the other version of “Fate”. no, actually its the complete opposite. we’re so happy with it that we dont think we can do it justice at this point in time. i have made many changes to the script while trying to keep the core story there. ive sent the script to chris but have yet to receive his response to the script. the biggest change i made was making it considerably shorter, less story, and exchanging the fight scenes for more of a western feel, with quick draws instead of a drawn out action gun fight sequence.

2. “GEEKS 2″!!! it’s a different film from the first one. with the exception of a few scenes, we’re back to the two-guys-in-front-of-the-camera shot made popular by Kevin Smith. I’m trying to get Mike and Germz to come back (for the most part they’ve both said they’d do it, but schedules might conflict with each other). But since Jess has moved away and won’t be able to come down for the shooting, he probably won’t return. In his stead will be my brother, Andrew, who will either be playing the character of Jess or a new character. as of right now, the character is Jess, but who knows what will happen in the long run.

3. Senior project, yay! for my senior project this semester i am making a dvd boxed set for George A. Romer’s “Living Dead Series”. as soon as i have some pictures of it i’ll post them, probably on deviantArt.

speaking of which, i need to post of of my other art projects that i’ve finished in the last year.
